The Vortec® 6.0L V8 engine, standard on Silverado 2500HD, can operate on E85, which is a blend of 85% ethanol and 15% gasoline.  Safety features include StabiliTrak Electronic Stability Control, Trailer Sway Control, Intelligent Brake Assist, and 2 standard air bags with the option of upgrading to 6 total.
